So I'm in the Orlando area for work. As the plane I was in was on approach to the Orlando airport I flew over a on-road track next to a airport in Kissimmee. Does anyone know anything about the track, or hobby store in the area? I will be here over the weekend and if I don't have to work I thought I'd go exploring.

They just ran the IFMAR worlds there 2 weeks ago.

Superior hobbies is in Casselberry (NE Orlando). One of the best shops in the industry.

The track you flew over was Full Throttle Raceway. It was the site of the recently completed IFMAR World Championship. I don't believe they have anything scheduled for the weekend.

The hobby shop you're looking for is Superior Hobbies. They are in the shopping center on the NE corner of Semoran Blvd, (Hwy 436), and Howell Branch Rd. There are several other shops in town but Superior is the one that caters to racers. I believe they are closed on Sunday so you might want to schedule your visit accordingly.

+1 Track is open saturday - going to be breaking in another motor for the gas nats next weekend
