2wd mod tends to be good during the series. When its a regular club race, there usually isn't enough for a full class so they just put them with stock 2wd

I plan on racing in the upcoming series in 4wd SCT. What tires and compound work well?

It looks like we dodged a bullet for Broward County. I look forward to racing on Sunday should there be a race. Well, I am on to wrenching my cars....

Default Need 7 To Race

Hey Max, will need to have seven (7) for Race 2 to run the last three races. I think we had three for Race 1. If you know any people, see if you can get them to come out. If the class is short for Race 2 it will be out of the series.

Default 4WD Modified Buggy - Popular Tires in the track and Gearing

Good afternoon all,

I recently move to Miami and I want to go regularly to Coral Springs Raceway in 4WD modified buggy.

I got a couple of questions about the class:

Which are the most popular tires for this class?? Where can I get the tires??

Which gearing should I used for an 8.5 T motor?? (XRAY XB4)

Thank you very much,

Jorge Rodriguez

Holeshots will work most of the time. Or any small pin tire. As far as gearing, try a 19t pinion and a 78t spur. That should put you in the ballpark

Jorge,
Small pin tires like Holeshot or DD in the morning and may be Bar code type in the afternoon.
Ask Lazi from Maniacs Hobby 954-424-6229 for tires.
81/24 ?
