true i have a 13.5 and a 10.5 for indoors

Because we already see couple years back when Me & Mark Burt ran mod in K raceway, We were using 10.5 boosted while Dave Franklin were using 5.5 blinky. the speed were very close.

this will make sure we have the best of both world where wear & tear is minimum.

for the first race in mod, I truly believe 13.5 boosted will probably the fastest setup. So for those that is not ready for mod, you already have a motor ready for this race.

Let the Mod class begin with a soild turn out again.

Thanks everyone.
daytona , kissimmee? i have a 5.5 , 6.5, 7.5 will see,

Well the problem for me and Robert, for instance, is we only have 1 chassis. It's too hard to change the motor and gearing (and ESC firmware) to run mod competitively with a 13.5 blinky car.

hmm , on my 411 set up for 13.5 blinky with the same spur i can run a ratio from 4.20 to 8.35 thats plenty of range from a 13.5 to a 5.5 motor. but i use the same software "blinky" on both classes, but i guess i see your point if u are using boost. maybe they will space the races far apart to give you time to change

We'll do whatever we can with heat setup to accomodate racers in different classes. When there is a larger turnout, like I'm hoping the first race will be, it's a lot easier. With the smaller turnouts harder to do, but then we don't have to rush to finish either.

Like Mark said.... I will work with Ron setting up the heat sheets and those of you who are running multiple classes we WILL make every attempt to make sure you have ample time between your classes to be able to change out what you need to. Changing timing profiles and tires doesn't take very long. Spur and pinions.......different story for most cars. We are here to make sure everyone enjoys themselves. We all work our asses off day in and day out. We want to make sure everyone enjoys themselves. Looking forward to seeing everyone bright and early Saturday!!

Just curious why 1/12 scale is boosted when the state series is now all blinky?

Each track has an option to run a promoter's class. The track director picks the class and sets the rules. Each track may have a different class that is strong in their area and helps get the locals out who might not run otherwise. Ron stated that his class would be 12th scale.

One more week!

Please make sure your ROAR membership is up to date or budget for renewal at the race. The region director brings the most recent list and I'll have forms to make it as easy as possible.

Please double-check your ESC is blinky enabled or on the list of esc's that aren't timing capable for the spec classes. We don't want any "misunderstandings" regarding ESC setups.

On another note, same for VTA. Check the rules BEFORE the race as we can't start the season making exceptions for equipment.
