I have good friend and his wife were in St Augustine this past weekend and say they had seen a big stand beside the hotel they were staying at. Curious they ask people in the hotel what it was and the said its going to be some kind of race track. Does anyone know the if town/county is building a RC track in St Augstine? Hope so!

Yes, Its called River Rat RC... Steven Stratton is working to open it up. Theyve had a superb oval there for awhile, and are working to build a offroad track, hobby shop, and boat racing pond by the end of this year. Its going to be an awesome complex when its done.

No problem... I havent been able to make it down yet, but I raced with the strattons when I ran dirt oval, and they were great people... I know he is using some laser level machine things to get the track surface perfect, hopefully the offroad will be just as awesome.

stevens track is not in st.augustine or by a hotel. its on 207 just east of palatka. Not sure about the one your talking about lance. Ill ask around.

Oh, they always told me it was in St. Augustine, so I assumed that was the one. Hmmm... Another local track maybe???
