oval today weather permitting 1pm. another great day of offroad racing on sat. trophies were cool and it was good to see everybody compete. comgrats to everyone who raced and HAD fun. hoping for track change SOON. I will have a date by Tuesday, if anyone knows of someone who needs a few bucks with a loader please tell them to call Melanie at the store. this needs to get done asap

We are racing the next 2, that's right 2 Sundays! This weekend is our regularly scheduled event 9/8/13! Gates open 10am, racing at 1pm! This will be a great last chance to work out any kinks in your program before the following week's FDOS event!
On 9/15 the Florida Dirt Oval Series hits the high speed, high action track at NewRed! As in the past, track should open at 8am, with Racing at 10am! If this changes we'll keep you guys advised.
Our normally scheduled 9/22 event has been flip flopped with the Crawlers for their Awards ceremony.. so the next 2 weekends are it for us this month!

NEWRED HOBBIES will tearing up the entire offroad track on sunday sept 16th so the contractor can completely redo inside ofroad. it has been a long time coming, and we didn't want to just change some jumps, this will be new clay and layout..here is this weeks line up. open wed 11to 5.30..thursday 11to8 indoor offroad...Friday 11 to 5.30 ...sat indoor offroad 10to6 racing at 1pm...sunday 9/16/13 FLORIDA DIRT OVAL SERIES COMES TO TOWN FOR THE 2ND TO LAST SERIES RACE, gates open all night for camping, controlled practice at 7am breakfast at 8am drivers meeting 9.30 racing at 10.00am. tech will be done starting at 8am, must have sticker on car to run the track. there is no make up race in case of rain. this is a double points race. please call store 352 671 7302 on wed for anything u need for sunday, p.s. track is freakin dialed...also offroad track will be closed on sunday the 16th for construction, but crawler track will be open. a lot of new and exciting things will be happening once the track change is complete. please keep wearing those t shirts, it will pay off unexpectedly

Thanks to everyone who came out. I had a great time racing late models and I attribute it to all the other racers who worked with each other on the track.

Ladies and Gents, I have had some racers asking if this Sunday was a race day and as much as I would like to race, it is not. It's not a scheduled day and we for sure need a day off between all the racing, track work, and hobby shop renovations. The tracks will be open for practice from 11am to 5pm. Have a great weekend!

lets start the oval rebuilding process. we will have rentals available this and every oval race day, we have 4 nascar trucks ready to go, along with mod truck s/c latemodel and a real late model. sold 2 srint cars last week, so we are hoping to see a lot more people, and the weather should be a lot cooler, we need to be at least 20 entries to keep oval twice a month, and with all the new people coming we should blow that number away...if I can get me s/c ready for this weekend , then I will come out of retirement and give u a run for your money. please bring all your cars, we have a lot of interest in all classes including bombers which have died off for awhile.lets rock the oval track this sunday

offroad track will be closed wed for maintanence the hobby store and the other tracks will be open, we will not be racing next Thursday night(10/31/13) because of Halloween, we will race on wed instead 10/30/13. same 7pm start, but we are racing this Thursday(10/24/13) 7pm start.. everyday new stuff happening and new stuff coming into store, better start gearing up for the holidays. NEWRED HOBBIES has a layaway plan. time to act is now.. also oval this sunday 1pm.. lets make it a good one, a lot of new drivers. cya on the drivers stand. sat indoor offroad, and is the last sunday of the month so oval comes back at 1pm. bring your stuff some new guys are looking for some action

Yes it is a dirt oval race sunday! Gates open at 10am. Racing at 1pm! Sunday is suppose to be in the upper 70s so its really going to be an enjoyable day. We will have a few additions to the late model class now that the 1:1 scale guys are getting freed up towards the end of their points season.

ok ladies(guys) most of you got what u wanted some cool weather to make the juices flow again, indoor offorad racing tonight 7pm, should be a great night of racing, also sat offroad again at 1pm and sunday oval comes back 1pm. new delivery of batteries and chargers, plus a whole lot more. we hope to see you at the track, remember next Thursday night racing is being changed to wed night at 7pm, so we can have Halloween with friends and family. p.s. track is sick dialed, with the best traction u will ever find, small layout tweak in 2 weeks, we told you when we put this layout in we could add so many new jumps and others things very easily . on sat we have been running 1 qualifier counter clock wise and the 2nd qualifier clock wise , everybody likes the switch up, come check it out, new layout has room to race each other, 2 months till xmas.

ok now you have seen the rest, so come race the best, u might not NEED an indoor track today, but it does not hurt. but you can come run the best surface around, almost no tire wear with crazy traction. today 1pm offroad, then sunday 1pm high speed dirt oval. come on out and try and support our oval program it has been on the decline for a little while, so we need support. please remember next Thursday night racing has been cancelled and changed to wed night at 7pm because its holoween on Thursday. I am sure Melanie will have all kinds of treats for anybody stopping by. all new inventory coming in everyday, xmas just around the corner. good time for layaway. well hope to see some of your smiling faces soon. Thanks to everyone who came out. It was a beautiful day for racing and I think everyone seemed to enjoy it. Didn't hear too much lexan in the mains either!
