If everything comes along right this week, this coming weekend will be a busy time, new walls, finish drivers stand and the best of all more clay. So this means mean the track should get completed and will open for practice and then can schedule some races.

GRAND OPENING is set for 10 FEB 2012, shop will be open and with a little luck the track will be open for pratice. Looking at putting a race schedule together for the upcoming weeks.

FRIDAY Jamrock R/C Raceway will be open for practice, $5.00 all day as well as Saturday and Sunday. After 3 years cars will be on the track. There is a fresh new look to the place for anyone who may have been there before. Pit road has not been constructed yet just incase some nitros guys come out, please dont let that stop you from enjoying a new track in the Jacksonville area.

There is limited electrical hook ups, this will be corrected in the near future as well as getting the lights wired up. Yes this means night races I am currently having a web site built to contain the race schedule and other important dates.

And a personnal thanks goes out the guys that have spent many hours getting Jamrock back up and running. There will be some before and after pics once the website is up.

Carmen, Donna, and I were out to help see what adjustments needed to be made to the track before the surface gets conditioned (raking, packing, calcium, etc). I'll be back up there this Sunday to lay down some more laps and try the B4.1 Worlds car I got from Jamrock.

I was hoping to have timing and score up for this weekend but I had to order a new power cord for the decoder today. We also have 20 house transponders so everyone will be able to run and get scored.

Track work is still ongoing trying to get that smooth high bite surface we all like, but keep in mind one can only do so much with what nature provides.

More track testing before we start treating the surface. I believe the rhythm section is going to be replaced with a double and just smooth out one corner.
