Prep for this race is in Full swing...
Some updates...
RCGT will run the spec Cirtix Speedo and Motor. Get them from MDI, they are about 75 bucks...
RCGT will run heads up racing.. with inverted grids every other run... 7 minutes..
We will be running Solaris tires....
9 will make the A's on time...with two bumps from the B.... Total of 11 in the Triple A's.
Working on some guest out of town racers... Lets see who the fastest 17.5 driver is.....

Working on the TShirt for this years event... We skipped the shirt from Last year.. so this year will be twice as good ... We had Felix the Cat, and the Kool Aid Pitcher man... what will be next ?????
If you notice on the flyer, the entry cost is very low, this race is about having fun, and giving back to the racers... and most importantly.. the RACING. Entry is 20 and tires are 25. With this you get a T-shirt, and we are trying to arrange for some food too. This will be the 4th year of the event, and it has been fun each year. I try to make the format different from the local scene, so lets see how the bump works.
The motor rules we have at the race are usually one step ahead of what FSEARA is doing, so you can get a glimpse of the new hotness :> .
For the RCGT class. We have went with a Spec motor/Speedo combo. We are trying to move to this combo for all RCGT racing. It is fast, cheap and fair. If your local track wants to run this combo, please have them contact me and I will get them tlaking to the correct people. The combos are a great deal, and about as fast as an SPX, but run pretty cool... Where else can you get a motor and speedo for 75 bucks. We will try to have some at the track for the race, but contact MDI before hand if you want to ensure getting one. The combos are selling so fast it is impossible for SpeedPassion to keep up with the demand.
I am still in Cali after the Reedy race, so when I get home on Monday, prep will continue.
