According to weather.com there is a 30% chance of rain tomorrow from 7 am through 10 pm. We should be good to go for qualifying.
Sunday the rain chances go down to between 10% and 20% all day.
here is the local radar for Avon Park:
http://www2.tbo.com/weather/local/heartland/
On the radar map the track in located right under the "P" in Avon Park
The rest of tonight looks like it will rain but it is a VERY light rain and the track is in perfect racing condition for qualifying tomorrow!!

RC Pro Finals update:
We got very little rain today - just enough to keep the track wet.
Sat - open practice from 7:00am-10:00am. Racing starts at 10:30am.
The 2 day format is designed for 150 entries, so if we have a lower turnout, we will try to do all quals and mains on Sat. If we have a good turnout or a rain delay, we will run the mains on Sunday.

The qualifying and mains were both ran yesterday because it was voted by the majority of drivers to do that.
I offered to do a club race today for those that were staying over another day and I just got a call that people are there.
So if anyone wants to come out and race.
Registration will start at noon
racing at 1 pm
$5 per entry

Thank you everyone who came out to the RC Pro Finals.
Congrats to the Series Champions:
1/10 Gas Truck - JP Tirronen
MT- Scott Beiswinger
Sportsman Buggy - Scott Beiswinger
Arena Truck - Joey Perez
Expert Buggy - Gene Hickerson
We did 3 rounds of 10 minute qualifiers and 20 min lower main and 45
min A-mains all in 1 day. The layout was much easier then before, with
46 sec fast lap times. It also did not get as bumpy as usual.
