I'm still running on the tires I bought for the snowbirds. you are righ there are alot of choices in tire compounds. since I switched to BSR tires I have run this combo. LF green RF gray LR pearl white RR white. That seems to be the best choice for flat carpet.
tire stagger. i don't have a set stagger to run because the tire wear. and loose there stagger. no body that I know of really does that.
as for asphalt generally most people run 3 pinks and purple. I run pink lefts RF purple RR double pink. yes I have bought a few tires. but the beauty of foam tires is you can run them till the foam is gone. un like the touring car tires that have them few fast runs in them the level off. generally what I do is after a race pull the tire off and measure them then put them in my box. for the next race I find 4 tires the same size.

dude you haven't seen me all hyped up on red bull yet. this is my plan
drive down on friday night practice slepp in my truck. bring some baby wipes to clean the boys up change clothes. then practice and party like it's 1999 for the bristol cup race saturday night sleep in truck again. sunday same deal wipe and change but to freshin up wipe a little paragon behind each ear.
