ok guys I am not trying to stir the pot here just asking a question.

why not run foams on carpet? i know that alot of the latest touring cars have carpet and asphlat versions and 98% of you guys have the asphalt version but is the asphalt car really that bad with foam tires on it? I watched the rubber tire b mains at the birds and the cars didn't appear to be in the track at all.

if it were me I would rather run a asphalt car on foam tires with a foam tire set up in it and than be slower with the rubber tire.

like I said not bashing just asking?

we ran foams last race but i think the biggest classes were rubber because they dont have to do that many changes from asphalt to carpet they can pretty much run the same setup as they do in asphalt
