I think Sunday's a much better plan. We've had over 4 inches of rain this week, 1.6 just yesterday and its still raining today.

Saturday has no rain in the forecast but no sun either. I don't see it drying out enough to race on tomorrow even with significant human intervention. By Sunday it should be ready plus we'll have much nicer weather to race in.

Brandon and I are headed out tomorrow morning around 10 to get the water off the track and patch things up if you'd like to join us. I'm gonna pimp slap mother nature if she doesn't comply with us tomorrow and sunday. Will post tomorrow on how things look for sunday.

there's a drain tube in front of the official's stand that needs to be dug out because it causes a high spot trapping water in the last corner.

if you guys can find more clay somehow the end of the straight has exposed gravel.

we really should get some loads of clay in this year. a lot of the track is getting to be lower than the ground around it making the drain tubes ineffective.

Aaron was talking to me about a buddy he has that builds houses. I guess he has an agreement with the guy that if he digs out a basement in a clay area we can have some clay. FO FWEE! I hope it's true. If so we can save our pennies and use them for something else. Like free beer and dancing girls for our after season party? hrm?
