Yep Separate. Only in the 2wd short course class do we run box stock with the mods, they are just given separate points for the day.

Got some work done last weekend on the changes but ran short on time. We will get it all completed this week and ready for what I hope is the 1st points race for the Summer Sizzler points series.

For those of you who like big air (Zack) I think you will find the new layout pretty fun. It will supper fast for the 1/8 guys and big air with a 40' jump on the back side and should be lots of challenging fun for the 1/10 racers. I think the times might be a little quicker on the new layout but the fun factor will be huge. No pun intended.

Default Tea's alway rocks, thanks.

Oh you know I love a big jump, and a place to do wheelies...weather we are on the clock or not. The truggy is looking good this year, I guess I will need to get another VE8, since you built a big jump.

The new layout is going to be Awesome!! Really looks good! It is a little bigger but it looks alot bigger.

Miller, the track may be ready Sat. for some practice but they probably will still be finishing it up. I am bummed I cant make it this week, my younger son graduates Sunday.

Finally we some good weather in the forecast and hope to get the points series rolling this Sunday! We will be having both oval and off road racing this week. We feel really good about the new track layout and think it will make for some great racing in all classes. Hobby Shop will open at 1pm and we will start racing at 2:30pm.

New layout is done and I know everyone will enjoy the fresh changes to the track. After a long day working on it last night I feel good that it will be in shape for this weekends race. Thanks to Casey from Dirt Doctors for the heavy dirt work and Rex/Kendall for some great ideas.

Track is not done yet as of Thursday. Still have to grooming to do and layout pipes. The best I can say is maybe the track will be drivable later in the day Saturday. Hobby Shop will be closed all day Saturday but I'm sure I will be around some?

I don't think we could get a much better forecast for Sunday. Highs in the low 80's, very little chance of rain and thank goodness the wind is suppose to be very low!

Hoping to get some rain today as both tracks need it. We are doing our best getting things smoothed out and packed in but I think it will still be a little rough the first couple races. Hope everyone understands but the new layout is mint. Allot of fun and good racing will be had on this track.

We will be getting tubes down later and hope to have everything done by mid to late morning on Saturday.

May be up for the race on sunday. Would like to know a few details. Are there power outlets outside by the track? Do I need my ezup and table? Waht tires usually work on 1/8 buggy? Just curious. Anymore details would be great.

They have enough indoor pitting for 75 people with chairs, not much power outside. Track is a black dirt so something like a I- beam in soft, a Grid iron would work too, anything works pretty well. kinda depends on how much they water. Tires wont wear at all either.

Someone take some video Sunday.

It would be handy to bring a table for your starter box outside, they dont have any yet.

Yeah, I think they open at 1 oclock. The track will probably need a few spots smoothed out and such since it's new for anyone that wants to pitch in. Also I am sure Charlie will need some help with watering between rounds and such.
Damn I wish I could be there.
