Just ordered another Roche F1 EVO (sold the other one I never assembled...) along with the aluminum chassis & pod, and alum side link mounts. CAN'T WAIT!! Gonna keep this one, as I always end up missing the F1 R/C's I sell on - so for now on I will just shelve the ones I don't run.

Same here. I was going to sell mine but I'm content with it being a shelf queen because it looks so do cool. Might run it every 4 months ha

Curious Nicholas, have you run the car in the in-line battery configuration? How is it compared to the transverse config? What type of surface do you run on? When I am able to run on-road it's on CRC black rug, and have found that in-line seems to be a bit better than running transverse... Car looks great, tight on there though.

Black carpet. I tried inline a month or so ago but it was my first time running black carpet at a track I've never been to before so I can't say how it compares to traverse.

Have an ESC wired up for traverse so if I ever have a day where I'm not running 2-3 classes I'll try a back to back swap.

tracks with a lot of tight 180s might work better on a transverse battery arrangement. that being said i continue to run inline with my alloy F1 Evo. this might be the car i spend the least amount of wrenching on and get BY FAR my best results with!

zero clue about comparable AE oil. i use AE products for diff fluid and shock oil. in pan cars i use shur lube or kyosho grease (not lube) religiously.

Ordered some of the Shur lube and will try it next weekend.

Huge PITA to wire up everything up neatly for inline. Fingers crossed it works lol
