Surikarn practises often at the same circuit but still unable to beat Hara

My brother 's position is a bit dissappointing

Eirik 02-17-2006 11:14 AM

David was not there the whole week practicing like the rest of the field ....
He will be on pace tomorrow, no worries!!

Brian Anthony 02-17-2006 12:34 PM

In 23t after the practice runs Surikarn is the only one on 20 laps. There are a ton at 19. I would ahev thought there would have been a bigger difference between 23t stock and open mod. Guess those 23t motors got some guts to them.

try this

again...now they has live results and gallry..
:)

I wonder why X-ray doesn't have their whole team there for this race as it seams it would be good to see how the new T2 does on rubber outdoor against the best in the world. Especially being they sent pretty much the whole team to the Snowbirds (American big carpet foam tire race) and it is a Worlds year.

They’d rather be winning carpet foam races in the states by flooding the classes...you know…its good practice for the worlds…oh wait…no it isn’t…the worlds is rubber asphalt..oh well..good luck to all.

JimmyMac 02-17-2006 05:57 PM

Yeah, and don't forget... they were all JUST at the Snowbirds!!!

Thankyou JoeyE on answering my question. I've always wanted to test out a 23t standup brushed motor. I knew they geared them motors to the moon.. but 4.8!! Damn!!! haha...

I hope Marc doesn't switch TC's!! He needs to stick with Tamiya!! :D Although the Cyclones do look like nice simple and easy cars to work with. I especially like the steering system on it. Hopefully Tamiya can work some stuff out. Their new systems looks promising.

I would rather be #1 at Tamiya than #2 or 3 at HB....
Wouldnt you?
But I do think they are all friends :) anyway

yes, he switched to HB. He was running a Cyclone at the International Indoor Friendship race in Austria two weeks ago.

flysti 02-18-2006 05:36 AM

then why is he down on all the time sheets with yokomo?

would he not correct this if it was wrong

omoser 02-18-2006 06:03 AM

Maybe he is running a Yokomo again, all i can say is that he is a club colleague and he's running a Cyclone since Christmas. I can ask him when he's back whether this was an error or he used the Yokomo.

MartinSorlie 02-18-2006 06:08 AM

If he's still under a contract, but wants to drive a HB, then that's why he has to run a Yokomo now. Can't think of many reasons not to be running a Yoke though, looks like a nice car, and he seems to be doing well with it...
I remember a Tamiya driver(had a Tamiya, but was contracted to someone else...) who did the same last year. ;)

hugovdb 02-18-2006 06:09 AM

Tomorrow is Qualify #5 so Jilles still has a chance..

Eirik 02-18-2006 06:26 AM
