I start mine off at 59mm for practice. Once the smallest one reaches 57.5mm, I true the rest of the set and save them for qualifiers and mains (start the run at 56.5mm). In my own experience, they seem to lose grip below 56.25mm. But keep in mind that my setups have very little mechanical grip and rely on the tires for most of the traction.

EDIT: Doh! Just realized that this was the Mike Blackstock thread and not the Jaco one.

OK. I am back... The race at Fastcats was awesome.. the people and facility are top notch anywhere in north america.. I hope to come back soon. thanks for a great time..

Yep the event at fastcats was so nice!!! it was my fisrt big event and my fisrt time to see a pro driver like Mike Blackstock!! and i can tell that his F$%ing fast Wow!! one lap on every one hehe!! The A-main of Mod was so fun to wacth i was so exicted hehe!! Guys are fast and all the passed was clean or almost clean!!! was so nice!! also Scotty Ernst was there but didnt talk to him but he seem a great guys and you can see easliy his loving this hobby!! thats great!!

Great Event!

Mike what do you think of running a outdoor setup and using higher spring rate springs for carpet? Medium traction track.
