I love the 25 entries for Mod TC but somehow only 9 for mod 1/12?

If anybody else wants to run Mod 1/12, I have a 4.0 turn Trinity D4 I can loan you. Its nice and sedate... lol

2. Our internet is dedicated to streaming our races at 1080p60 which uses a lot of bandwidth. If guest usage affects the stream I'll have to disable it for the event.
Makes sense. I kinda thought if you only had the one connection you'd just lock it down and only run the stream so I thought I'd ask.

Cheers!

To someone who has run the purple stripes on black carpet, how many runs do they last? I've run them on an old worn-out rug and they wear pretty slowly and seem to get better on the second run.

Paradoxically, the purple stripes are my preferred Mod tires, they hold up under power quite well on this more abrasive surface that we run on.

You have to cut them so small, it's not necessarily about tire wear, it's more their's nothing there to begin with. I think most people at a big race are getting two 8 min runs, maybe three.

Definitely more about handling and tire performance than wear. I get 1 maybe 2 runs if the traction is high. If I cut them big enough for more then it's traction roll city.

Thanks for the info, that's what I had figured was tiny tires would be mandatory. I actually have what, to me, looks like a promising and fun way to combat traction roll. I would tell you all about it but then I would lose my advantage

Really low roof height with big tires, upside down/right side up it'll still roll

I actually can't remember the last time I had a 1/12 car upside down, its a bit of an achievement if you don't have massive corner dots.

Hey Syndr0me, it is looking like we may have more than one guy in a wheelchair racing this year. I guess we will need to work out the classes so that we are not in the same heats. I don't know what we are going to do if we end up qualifying for the same main. Flip a coin? lol

5280: I just want to confirm we can bring our own crc/bsr purple stripes. Nothing has changed on that, correct? About a week out, it's time to sit down and tire prep. Nothing better then huffing CA and kicker! Gotta keep time freed up for the post race activities.

yes. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN crc or bar purple stripes. we have a very limited number on hand in case of emergency, but we certainly don't have enough to sell to everyone.

thanks

Hey Mario et al,

Unfortunately, my recovery from knee surgery is taking a little longer than expected; so, I will not be racing in WGT-R at the Mile High this year.

Please feel free in using my entry fee towards supporting the race and track. No problem here with supporting the best carpet track in the country.

Cheers!
