I'm right there with you. It is my understanding that XRay, being a slightly smaller company than that of AE and Kyosho, etc. they put it on their distributors to support a team in their area. It is for this reason, I would assume that the Mirage distributor does not properly support an Xray race team or the promote the product as RC America does here in the states because RC America is exclusive to Xray and HUDY. Since the team and how its organized is left to the distributors, you'd have to give THE Ralph Burch almost all of the credit in scoring these two big names for Xray and mainly RC America, but this is to not over shadow the current successful team that has been put together over the years...
In short, it is kind of lame that Xray cannot be properly promoted/supported in the UK like Ralph, RC America and Korgae can do it over here in North America.

However it is better represented in the spec 19 class, but a lot of the mirage (distributors for xray, hpi, hot bodies) team drivers have made the switch to hot bodies, mostly down to the incredible results from "moorespeed". Also thanks to chris grainger, the yokomo bd is probably the most popular car in the uk
It's all well and good having these top drivers in faraway lands (well, for some of us ) but I think companies should try a more global effort, as hard as it is.
Xray will be bigger at Mod nats next year... Andy Grith is driving for them now. Maybe he will do better with that.

With Ralph, Dumas, Jilles, even Martin now, Blackstock and Paul you bet your buns they do, especially with this new car... I think the Tamiya is going to be chasing the Xray now.

bigragu, it's not so much the money, although I've heard how xray does their bonus system you can make more money if you do well at the races than you can if you were just on a regular salary. I know of several people that were getting paid by other companies and came back to the RC America team just because of the team work and of course a superior car...

David Alford, what are you talking about AE will be fine, Harry potter give you the low down on whats gonna happen.
