PW 12-15-2005 01:31 PM

Teemu Leino :sneaky:

J.Filipow 12-15-2005 02:07 PM

...maybe Paul can answer this:

Why are there only three US factory drivers at this event? I would have expected more than that, since it is a 'World Cup'...

PaZ 12-15-2005 02:31 PM

spashett cause hes british :D

Sam_Smith 12-15-2005 03:13 PM

What about Moorespeed, Cosgrove, Grainger, Jefferies, all Brits, all there and been going fast :sneaky:

Good question...Still waiting for my plane ticket...LOL Seriously I don't know, but I think we should have more racers over there learning how to go fast!!! :sneaky:

Looks like only three US racers present.
Hohwart, Hodge and Easton.

WorldCup2004 12-15-2005 11:35 PM

What kind of tyres and wheels are they using ?

Rick Hohwart 12-16-2005 12:19 AM

Tires: Take Off CS27
Wheels:Team Orion hard
Inserts: Team Orion JB ultra light blue inserts.

There only three of us U.S. drivers, but all the top European drivers are here including Marc Rheinard. The track is great and the facility is awesome. It is the best venue I have ever been to.

I would say some of the best European drivers.
Still a very good event!

Agree... :)
All fast Orion/Peak drivers are there, but most other european teams are not very well represented.

Still a good event tough. Shame I had to cancel last minute.

Anyone know if Drescher is racing? his name is on the list, but he hasn't posted any times yet...

Rheinhard and Andy Moore currently at the top.

Scotty Ernst 12-16-2005 08:18 AM

Hi Guys, Scotty here, Craig did not make the trip. He will be removed from the list later. Lots of fast guys here. This track is awsome. What a great facility. Those of you guys in Europe, next year don't miss this race. Awsome! Many countries from throughout Europe represented here. Long distance, Ryan Lee from MuchMore racing is here from Korea. He told me 15 hour plane ride to get here. It is his first carpet race. I will try and keep updating as much as I can.

I have seen those candies before. A few guys had them at the Snowbirds and the LA Hobby Show this year. I knew what they were I was just saying the advancements in batteries is pretty amazing.

Nicolas 12-16-2005 03:11 PM

Moore is fast

Bigger Brother 12-16-2005 03:24 PM

Think Moore could win this one. Mind you, with their interpretation of the Reedy format, who's the luckiest? Jilles always does well in heads up racing, as does Marc. Can't count out Spash or any of the top 3 Losis.

Anyone found any other pics, particularly of the track. The one on official site isnt great , infield looks pretty twisty, not many overtaking spots.

Good luck to all the Brits :D

What an impressive run in the last heat of qualifing. Martin Hudy drove the race of his life. He started 2nd behind Marc Rheinard and drove a perfect race. He caught Marc, Marc hit a dot,let Martin pass, and Martin made no mistakes during the last 3 min. Even with Marc right on his bumper. An awsome diplay of driving and sportsmanship by both drivers. Now the top 32 transfer to the World Cup division which will consist of 4 heats of 8 racers running 6 rounds of Heads up on the tone racing. Similiar to the Reedy Race format. It will make for some great exciting racing. The rest of the racers who did not make the top 32 cut will continue with 2 more rounds of qualifing as a normal race format with top 10 making the A and so on. Any chance I get to do an update, I will.
Later,
Scotty

WOW...am I the only one that noticed in the pictures that they run backwards? Maybe they are practicing for the snowbirds

Looks like a great event. With Scotty in charge I am sure it's awesome!!

RC Scoring Pro 12-17-2005 11:32 AM

http://worldcup.rcworld.ch/bbk/reor2.htm

They are using Reedy Race scoring, which is like MotoCross.

Rheinard has 2 - 1 1 => 2 Points, 1st and 1st.

EAMotorsports 12-17-2005 11:35 AM

He has a 2 and a 4 place finish....6 points total. Just like the reedy race. 1 point for 1st, 2 for 2nd, etc.
