yes, i too am very interested in purchasing one. seems this thread has been very inactive. i almost forgot about this car. the new tamiya evoIII is pretty hot as well, and integy was selling their type t for cheap. that got me thinking of a new car, but i like the kawada best i think. mid motor, loooooong arms and camber links, adjustable roll center, single belt, huge pullies, and tons of tuning options. well done kawada. the alcyon II was super nice and durable as well. looks like the new one (sigma???) will be even nicer.

Do you mean the Losi XXXS diff pulley fits the Kawada? do the teeth on the Kawada belt fit the Losi pulley?

i bet they do. the entire industry uses the 3mm pitch belts. wait...losi used something else for the street weapon didn't they? what about the xxx-s? doesn't it use the std 3mm pitch? that's what the kawada looks like. it would be hard to believe it uses anything else.

Default what about

What about those belts that were ripped apart by those diffs?? Have they solved that problem?
Guess it will be pricey, well if they want to be back up front they sorta have to, don't they? Cause they've been "kicked" of the theatre! Hope they (Kawada) will be back in full force and that supplies will follow the car, they should in fact firs relaese the parts and then the car, so there would always be parts available(shoot dumb reaction )

Default shoot!!

dumba**, shoud have looked that ieny tiny bit better, price was with dtm
If it was between 2100-2200hk$, that would make it a mere 270 euro/usd. On the Kawada site it supposed to sell at 44000 yen.
Seems nice,...for what you get.

Talking Bought Mine Last Night

I hope to have it up and running buy this weekend so I can race with it... The Sigma's quality is top notch also!!

I paid 33000 Yen for mine at the LHS or about 285$ USD ..wich seems to be the average price over here in Japan
