Hey Pit how is it going.

Actually I just found out it would be closer to the end of January possibly early February. Will let you know if anything changes.

No pre-orders till January 1st unless I hear of a closer date change...

I thought ROAR said stock motors can't retail for more then $46? I'm guessing this new motor will be ROAR legal.

That ONLY applies to the Retail price set by a Manufacture...It does NOT include any tuning that may be done by a Motor Tuner/Builder.

I contacted Roar on this last year to see their standpoint.

Ok you got me there. Your right. But I am not wrong about the material composition of the Ferrite magnets. Whatever the name may be.

I'll edit my post accordingly.

Anybody know what the tag on the arm is going to read?

On the website is shows the arm with the tag: "EPSTK27"
which is the same as the illegal outlaw binary arm.
I seriously hope Trinity makes the tag read "EPIC27" or tech is gonna be a nightmare.

If you look at the arms you can see the BIG difference in the two. For the C027 they added material to the rotor in between the stacks. It appears to be flush with the wire instead all the way in towards the middle.

Most people say stuff based on hear-say or on what they believe to be true. Manufacture or not. Most people at these motor companies never even went to college, and have not had even a high school level chem class in 15 years.

According to TDK there is no Neo in their magnets that we use. This is not my opinion, this is information from them. Maybe they are lying, maybe RC industry people are full of bs. Who knows.

My vote is on RC industry people being full of BS! The sheer amount of re-labeling and selling for 500% profit in just the P.O.L. area of this market is staggering.

Will the motor be submitted and approved for ROAR sanctioned races summer of 2006?

Under current ROAR rules, it must read EPIC27 to be legal.
