Are you talking about the fluorine coated shock shafts?

Not that it makes much of a difference to many...I'm not a good enough racer to notice it

I saw a guy yesterday opening the kit. It has all the mounts (7 in total) and all the accessories and spares available. I was sort of amazed that Tamiya is basically giving this car away with a very competitive price.

I use WD40, its cheap and it works. After soaking, spray the bearings with motor spray and apply a drop of bearing oil to it.

Default TB EVO3 on order!!!

Well-even though I have a TC3 with a new narrowed chassis and machined nitrolon arms to test, a XXXS with new rear suspension and belt to try-I bought a TB EVO3 today!!! Somebody just shoot me please!!!!

I am psyched. When anybody has a good carpet/ foam set-up to start with-please post it here !!! If not-I'll just take the set-up off of my TC3 and put it on the EVO.

Rayhuang.

I know this is off-topic so please reply direct (PM) or on the tc-3 thread.
Could you tell or show something about the "nitrolon" arms?!

Thanks,
Pizza

Ok so far so good...finished building the universals and have attached them. All that's left are those shocks

The car does not look as wide as my 414m2 for some reason, and I needed to place red spacers on the hex hubs .

Tamiya have been pretty generous with their spares, lots of spare spur gears and bevel gears. All the parts that generally see lots of wear and tear are well stocked in the kit. Only spares they did not include are the steel hinge pins which I tend to bend alot of

The slop in the kit is way less than my 414m2. The steering links are fairly slop free. Even the lower arms don't need shimming.
