Tamiya TB-Evolution III

actually i am happy that its a IV now and not eIII. Parts seem to be easier to get, even a local shop has IV parts...
little confused...you mentioned earlier "(however u should change the gear to correct eIV part, TB03 uses e5 gears)"??? isn't the gears already eIV since the car is eIV

thanks for your help.. i am actually gonna head to the shop and pick up the TB03 spool right now... and hopefully some more goodies

no i meant when u buy the TB03 spool, it comes with a TBe5 gear in the bag.
Gotta swap this for a proper eIV "oneway" gear.
each of the eIII/IV/5 have their own unique gears so never intermix
re parts availability, depends how u see it
eIII = TB02 so a lot of the gears, plastic bulkheads & diff outdrives
got boughtup by TB02 people which led to shortage
e5 = TB03 so same again for gears, diff parts, centre shaft etc
but they're still a current model so shouldn't be parts shortage
eIV otoh is a bit of an orphan, its got own gears & nothing unique reused
on another model ... so some LHS may still have unsold old stock
eIV has their own rctech thread

btw i am reminded that Spec-R now makes a gear diff for TB03
http://www.spec-r.com/default/index....roducts_id=141
should fit the e5 nicely but not sure if the gear's
teeth profile difference will hinder its use in eIV

Hello to all.
I have the Evo-III Surikarn Limited + blue metal kit.
I decided to upgrade the model with the metal suspension.
Could you tell me which are better: GPM or YeahRacing ?
Which model alloy hop-up to choose& TB-02 or TB-03 or maybe TA-05 ?
Thanks for help.
