how would having aluminium bits be different from the stock plastic?
#1835
oh yeah...ur right...the surikarn edition doesn't have the aluminium bits....my bad

what i want is the new upperarm support things, i might get the ones from square if tamiya doesn't release theres soon, i also want the new damper stay's with the wider body post seting.
#1837
but with the wider body posts wouldn't you havto make holes wider apart?
#1838
yeah your holes will be wider all right, i'm in no hurry for that part because i just bought a new body so i'm not going to be drilling more holes in it.
i read there are benifits to the wider body posts, but you all know i really just want them cause they look cooler.

This thread is getting lame... The TB Evolution III is a racing machine, so let?fs hear about racing and racing setups.
At our most recent club race, I had my best showing ever in stock sedan. I finished 3rd in the B main. This is a very good performance for me. It was my first race with the front diff, and I must say, the car is much more easily controlled with it than the front one-way. I found it much easier to be consistent lap in and lap out. With my current setup the car has a bit of an off power push, but nothing too dramatic.
I am no expert, and I am still learning the ins and outs of setting up RC cars. Our next meet is on April 27 and I can't wait! My goal will be to get rid of the push and see if I can match or better my results. (Visions of the A main floating around in my head)

jani s - As I understand it, 400 is similar to 40wt, 500 to 50wt, etc...
Hope this helps.

the 400 is in centistrokes and is the metric measurement of the viscosity of oils such as shock oil. However, since metric and standard don't quite match, neither does our weight system work with the centistroke system. The best I can say is that 600 is actually more akin to 50wt. shock oil than it is to 60.
I am probably wrong on much of this, but I just want to find out as well.
