The geometry is the same from the D06, D07 and the D08.
Plastics just got better and tougher. The D08 silver compound is great. The gold is ment to be stiffer again.

Diffs are the same AFAIK.

Whats the difference between the TBB shock and the TBBS? Is it just the shaft and spring along with the low profile shock towers.

The shock bodies are shorter as well.

I know that the D08 arms are better quality in many ways, however, I have a D07. I put some D08 arms on the car - the car was superb. Then a chap, trackside, had a D06 that was all over the place insofar as:
- roll bars bent;
- unequal droop left right
- unequal length shocks

Anyway - I helped sort the car out and put the same settings on his car as my own. Now he uses sticks - me a wheel - but I learnt on sticks.

I found his car to be very forgiving over the bumps, and was a bit better at generating grip. The d08 arms made the car sharper and more responsive.

All I am saying is, get some 08 arms, but the old arms can/do provide good options on set up -

BTW the track was tight, bumpy, low grip

First day out with the D08 was good! After each change the car gained a 10th per lap. I qualified 3rd and finished 2nd in the A main. The flex system works great and is very effective at changing the car. I will make some serious changes the next time I run it. The Hobbywing power was awesome as usual.

Any feedback on how the TBBS works on low / very low outdoor ashphalt traction ?

Also , any feedback on the solid FR pin mounts ?

Im using the standard shocks so Ive got no answer there. The solid pin mount seems to be fine so far, I would like to get some more inserts but their out of stock in Vancouver. Everyone was very impressed with the way the car behaved on track, I was only 5 seconds behind the fastest guy there in the class.

The TBBS system will lower the CG which in turn will allow for more lateral grip. The dampening and performance of the shock is still the same.
