From what I saw of it today, it looks pretty darn good. Should shake things up at the champs.

KB described the day and the car best. Baker and Blackstock looked good, the Losi's looked super dialed, but when Josh ran his car everyone just stopped what they were doing and watched.

Nash will probably sneak some pics and post 'em right away, so just follow rc50.com and all will be revealed.

Of the X-ray crew hangin out, Hodapp, Flack and Robinson were there most of the day. Andrew Ellis and Jared Scott showed up later on and I didn't see them run too much before I left.

Anyways, Bobby and Greg's cars looked good in Mod and from what limited time I saw Peter's run, it was starting to get better. It looked like he was building the car when I got there, so I don't know if it was a new car or if he was going through his old car.

The fast mod guys had no problems keeping the laps in the 9 second range and the fast laps for Stock were low 10's. KB's RDX looked good as always.

Dumas with new Brood rip has been very impressive around here. I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the top of any of the classes he's racing. His new speedmerchant rev4 ride looked dialed today.

haha.. what else can I say? Its a prototype. If josh wanted, or was allowed to show photos, he would. He is down right gitty about it. Im sure there will be photos by the end of the week. But for now... it has 2 belts.. 6 cells.. a motor.. ohh ohh.. a servo..

I will say it is SLAMMED. I dont think I have ever seen a car with such a low profile. It looks very easy to work on... and is very very tuneable.. It will be a contender on all levels. It looks to me, like a mix of quite a few principles and concepts of his past sucessfull works.

early early lap times show he has done his home work.. inspite of all of the other distractions.

Man I should get you to put some money on that pick.... since Stephen is not running stock this year Here is his post....

"John,
You are correct. Roar rules state any product for use in stock class must be
available to the public 15 days before the event takes place.
We had hoped to have kits available and for sale before cleveland But we
ran into some minor snags that impeded that from happening.
SOOOO we will just have to run 19 turn. Instead of both 19 turn and stock."
