Raced it this season, learned to tune and race it. Will be competing next season again from spring to fall. Planning for a second car for the slower class (like the VTA) to keep spares to a minimum. Although I haven't needed any spares this season.

Forgot to post this video after summers racing

https://youtu.be/nAhy6YNvpUc

Haven’t been able to make it to track. But I run every morning and night it’s not raining. I should have been practicing this way all summer.

There are a number of XRay parts that can be used as replacements. There’s a post back in thread with list of compatible parts. Stock parts look to usually available. But the few upgrades listed I’ve yet to see in stock. Year plus of use on mine, both in races and non race conditions I’ve had only a rear belt require replacing.
Haven’t seen any Aluminium chassis, but haven’t really looked. I’ve have yet to try running carpet.

Team C tc10 aluminum chassis should be a direct fit. Works well on black carpet but hard to find in my experience.

Team C is a direct fit for chassis and it can be ordered thru www.teamcusa.us and this car is very competitive on black carpet with some upgrades.

Default Belt pulleys

Hi, do you know if hobbyking sells the 20 tooth belt wheels that screw in the spur gear? Hobbyking has them under "bt-4 spare parts", but they have different joining grooves and you have to purchase a "4mm casing" but i don't know what the casing is for.

The part number in the manual is; TR1007

The part number for the hobbyking pulley is; T01027

Cheers.

No necessary other part like 4mm casing.
Just replace ooriginal plastic pulley by orange alu pulley option.I think it's Ball Bering 4 mm and not casing 4mm.
