Hopefully reviving an old thread, I received a rear wheel drive version of this. I'm usually out on the street and it is almost useless on the street. Usually will be almost at and stand still and just do a burn out.

For my application I'm thinking the AWD would be better.

What do I need to convert it? Or is it a waste of time?

While I'm just starting into this line myself I'd say try some different tires...

I'm waiting on all my parts for my build to show up before I can even start having issues to talk about... . I did pick up a couple sets of tires off eBay just to get me started...

However I got the AuperD rwd so I'm hoping that what it has over the earlier versions pays off... Been reading my arse off these past few weeks learning as much as I can about everything RC related... Even picked up a Tekno 410.3 sct so I can play in the dirt...

Here's to you for bring this thread back to life...

Default I'm new around here

I'm thinking about buying a sakura d4 kit and I can't decide between rwd and cs. Keep in mind that this is my first rc drift car but I have experience with rc cars in general and I mastered some pretty f*cking hard drift video games in my life so I think I have enough patience for practise and enough skill to pick up the "pattern" of rwd drifting. Also do they perform differently on tarmac.
I need professional suggestions.

Anybody still running these?

I lost a front drive cup SAK-D134. Is there an upgrade part for these plastic pieces? If so I can't find it.

You can use the steel outdrive spools from the ultimate and advance kits, SAK-09/HD with SAK-A514 or SAK-U423
