I'd rather the plastic distorted in a big impact, than have the carbon pass it through onto the bulkheads. The braces and bumpers are cheaper than the bulkheads ;-)
Good plan.

fair enough. Though i can't be the only one that thinks a white belt on an otherwise black & orange car is a bit of an eyesore.
What is recommended to use for cleaning the belts? I want to make sure I avoid any cleaners that might affect the strength or longevity of the belt.

Bulkheads part numbers
Are the 2015 T4 front and rear bulkheads the same as the 2016 T4?....and what are the part numbers for the 2016s?
Thanks,

question for you guys regarding the shock mounts:
the top & bottom ball joints each have one side that is a regular finish, and one side with a shiny finish.
The manual is VERY specific about which side should be facing out for the top and bottom of the shock.
The problem I'm having is that when installing the shocks in the recommended position with the shiny side facing out on the bottom of the shock, the ball is VERY tight. when installed shiny side in, the ball is loose.
I'm sure this is intended, but the shock ball seems WAAy too stiff when installed in the manual recommended way.
is there a way to loosen these mounts up? or should i just mount both the top and bottom of the shock with the shiny side face in?

Hey is anyone use any of the t-works titanium products they make Any feedback on there qaulity looking to but my 16 on a diet

I have the T-works Ballstuds on my TLR 22-4 and have not had any issue with the quality or durability of them on that car. I would put them on a T4 myself after using them on that car.

Suspended
Should be some good ones, the whole Xray team worked really well together at IIC. I think most of the team drivers would be on the '17 platform with the additional flex plate though. Either way, they could also be a good starting point for the '16.

Guys some advise if you please, the whole flex screws around the motor mount, setup sheets hardly gets filled in and I'm not sure if the nut is used either. I'm a bit stumped as some say they dont use the nut, then you look at their setup sheets and the box is ticked??, maybe just never un-ticked that box??. Whats the best to use outside asphalt track, medium grip. I plan to do some testing this weekend and need to know what's the best selection most have found to work?. If the nuts not used, surely there should be one used or are they just using the layshaft screws??.

Start with just the nut and no other screws. Moving the screw forwards will reduce steering, but reduce overall grip as well. Going backwards is more steering and more overall grip. For low/medium traction I generally just run one screw and move it around for balance.
