Myron, have the 21.5 F1 rules been decided upon?

Thanks,

Thank you. The UF1 rules are great, except for the "post-2000" bodies only rule. Earlier cars like the Tamiya F103 have a more difficult time fitting the 'modern bodies'. It'd be more inclusive to allow the earlier bodies, IMHO.

sorry I havent got back...but all pm,email, and text answered...if I missed you try again please.

looks F1 will be a variation of UF1 rules. So tires and motors look to be Pits 571/572 + 21.5....so I believe that is what most run.

contact me if you know something different....Thanks

I think the current UF1 rules are the way to go. TCS tires make life much easier.

That's fine, but make sure you give people plenty of time to obtain them, because not everyone around here runs the TCS tires. We have guys running Sweeps, Pits, and TCS tires.

Or have enough available for purchase at the race.

"Specifying" Pits 571/572 is difficult because there are no markings on the tires.

TCS tires are 571 and 572 with the tcs logo molded in. Really the only choice unless you have a premount available

Agreed. An open tire for this race would be fine with me too.

Expanding upon what Mark said, without being able to tech a spec tire, there is no point in having one. While we agree that the 571/572 are the same as the TCS tires, there is no marking on the Pit tires.
With that said, I would like to see an easily teched spec tires or an open tire.

I've been in contact with several people about F1 and we seem to have a very good solution that should make everyone happy.

I have a few more details to iron out with track owner.
