Default EZRUN Brushless Combo 5.5T and 9T ?

Can anyone explain the differences between the 5.5T and 9T ? Also , does the 60A ESC mean anything ?

I've used both the 5.5T and 9T EZRUN on my first ever EP Touring Car. Also got both the 35A and 60A Hobbywing EZRUN ESC's. IMHO it is a very basic combo set that I used for bashing and learning. Quite fast too...maybe a bit too fast for a beginner like me back then.

Differences is in power output. 9T is about 4300KV and the 5.5T is about 6000KV+.

What car are you running? The 5.5T is too powerful for a stock standard car (and for someone that lacked driving skill like me) . I have broken a few belts and stripped a few spur gears with it. Anyway, I used it on a cheap china made HMF416 which is a poor quality Tamiya 416WE Clone so that maybe the main reason.

As for the 60A EZRUN ESC, it is the minimum that you require for running the 9T motor. 5.5T will heat up the ESC pretty quickly and you will get high temp cut off in no time if you set your cut off.
