are ur batts have charge in it? if it does, it might take a while since it have low discharge rate.

did you use a discharger before you put the battery in the tray.

use a multimeter to see the voltage of the far cell.

or put your aligator clips of you charger on the far cell and your charger should tell you the voltage of that cell

The Smart Tray has a very low discharge rate. After a run, your cells will be unevenly discharged, hence the reason for an equalizer, but you should dump them on bulbs or something first. That will likely cure the problem.
