Ok. i was wondering. I found the 3.5 to be within the "specs" and I think there is a D4 with a 12.3 in it. A base model non-maxzzilla on both.

The Shuurspeed does show 12.5 on the website.

I just talked with Ron, and if you order a motor he will install the 12.3 rotor in it.

I know things aren't as clear cut as they should be with the motor change in F1, but I think we are getting a jump on what the upcoming season will be if you or your track follows the UF1 Midwest series/rules.

There's no ROAR spec 25.5 approved list and the UF1 Midwest series doesn't have their rules package up yet, but you will be seeing the changes coming

I plan on running a 25.5 in F1 at The Southern Nationals in Nashville this weekend. We'll see how it does against the 21.5 motors. It's been fast at The Gate and I think is the way to go in F1.

At the Gate , racing in F1 with the 25.5 has been much closer (and more fun) than with the 21.5.

We have been running the 25.5 the last couple of weeks and our times are about the same. Cars go a little slower down the straight, but we are maintaining the speed in the infield. On our track it is like .1, .2 seconds slower a lap.

Things are getting crazy on our end trying to wrap everything up.

If you have PM'ed me and I haven't replied it's because my PM box reached 997...lol.. I'm working my way through them and trying to tie them together with e-mails sent to [email protected] and PM's that were sent to nwagner. It's not been easy trying to straighten everything out..lol..

Are the new Trinity 24K motors going to be allowed to run in the 17.5T classes?

If they're ROAR approved, sure.

My understanding is they are at ROAR and have passed but ROAR hasn't added them to the list yet.

If they are on the ROAR approved list when we print it off next week they will be allowed.

Copy

I admit I am not a fan of ROAR - I have been around the hobby for 30 years and have seen how they operate. As such I have no idea how the approval process works. I know the motor isn't on the list currently but wasn't sure if there was an interim step or something.
