It happens from time to time. The original date was on Valentines day, there were a lot of people that couldn't make that day, so we changed in order to get a larger draw.

I hope it work out. I actually booked a weekend vacation with the family two weeks after the original race date so that I could go on 2/14. Now, I'm going on family vacation but not racing.

Remember you can register for the event on rcsignup. Its not mandatory but it will let us get a feel for how many folks are coming.

This is going to be a great race with probably 2-3 heats of mod touring car for those of you looking to see some good high-speed crashing.

We also really want to see those 1/12 scalers out in force.

Five days away from the Regionals. I won't be there until Saturday morning. I was hoping to be there Friday to go over things with Eric, but that will have to wait until Saturday.
Looking forward to a great turnout, remember to bring your roar card or plan to buying one at the track.

Due to the extremely low and poor results of registration, we will be shipping awards to the top 3 finishers in what classes get run after the event.

I hope everyone can understand why I have to do this, awards are not cheap, and the turnout for this event, based upon on-line registration, is , to say the least, disheartening.

For those who are coming from across the region, please be safe in your travels.

3 Rounds of qualifying and mains to be run on 1 day, a possible 4th qualifier may be added depending on turnout.

LGC Tire Traction Compound will be the only allowed tire additive

Gravity RC GRC130 G-Spec "Type C" on the G rim will be the control tire for this event.

Cost is $35 for the first entry and $20 each additional.

Open Practice is Friday from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Open Practice Saturday from 7:30 a.m. until 8:30, controlled practice by class 8:30-10:30.

First Round of qualifiers 10:45 a.m.

I would like to thank everyone who attended this years Region 5 Championships. I know it was a change from the normal locations over the last 8 or so years, being on the other side of the region this year.

I hope all who traveled home yesterday made it home safely through the storm to the south and we lookk forward to seeing all of you again.
