I can see AE for a 1 year deal. You think a top driver from the country hosting the world leaving the company that owns the track hosting the worlds isn't going to be strongly pursued by the company that is all about winning the 1/10 scale off-road championships? A world title for the B5 would be worth more to AE than whatever it would cost to bring Matsukura on board.

Who ever signs Noato will increase their chances at a world championship in at least 4 classes... He's the only driver left that can compete at the top level in all electric classes.

WC in 1/12, TC, and a 2nd place finish in 4WD buggy at the 2013 WC.

I guess he wants to join a team that would be genuinely happy for him in the off chance that he captures his first 2wd and/or 4wd off-road world title.

Did we ever really know why Hara and HB parted ways?

No, but he really hasn't done a ton since really. Maybe he wishes he never left.

This could be huge for HB if it's in the cards. They need a headstone.

Maybe he just wants to pursue an education like some other young pros? One of the most exciting onroad/offroad drivers. I hope he stays with a japanese team (probably kyosho?). And maybe tamiya for on road.

Nah, they already have Tessmann for off road. Need to go somewhere that can make use of his multi-talent.

Fun to speculate. I could see AE go after him. They don't seem to have anyone that does multiple disciplines both on and off road.

Xray would be a good option, he could be there top driver here in Asia. They have everything he currently runs and more. It will also be interesting how he does without a mechanic, but I'm sure even without one he knows how to tune his own cars.
