Ok I took mine out and ran it in the school parking lot up the road from my house, so these are very informal results. The thing is fast, with the same 17.5 as my VBC D07 the car is notably faster then The D07. It comes out of sweepers way faster then the 07. The tighter turns I set up we a little slower, but on my test track it was had faster lap times. This is just having the wife use a stop watch so there is some margin of error, but overall I am impressed. I am taking it to our club track this weekend, to race it against the 4wd's to see what it can do. I think when winter comes this car will be a weapon in our Alberta Scale Spec class, where FWD have no minimum weight limit.

So tonight we ended up testing the FF out quite a bit. Some good and bad news atlas from my stand point. SO the negative news is that the arms of the car seems to break very easily. The first two arms was obviously my own fault as i planted the car into the wall. But, the two next in a short period was not my fault. They both broke while i cornering. A little desperate ( because i was stating to run low on the arms ) i decided to test out of the X-ray front arms would fit ( i used T3 arms ) And they fit perfectly SO that the great news In fact, not only does the front arms fit, but also the rear arms. Chubs seems to fit, intact everything seems to be almost identical to X-ray parts
After changing both front arms, i ran another 4 batteries without any problems what so ever. This really made me happy. I will gradually change things out to X-ray parts, as it is much much much more easy to get ahold of in Norway then MTS. In my mind the car is still just so much fun to drive. I am still waiting for new pinions, and spur, so i can get it to drive little faster. I took a small video this evening from one of our tests MTS FF pro vs X-ray T4-14 both 13.5 blinky. Although the Xray is faster ( not by much ) its fun to see them side by side driving. I am driving the MTS and a good friend of mine drives the Xray.

Well I put mine on the scales, currently before the titanium screw kit I am at 1160g. with 359g on the rear wheels and 801g on the front. I think with that much front weight bias you need to run a harder front tire than you would on say a 4wd TC. I will take mine to the track on the weekend for it's first run and see what we have.
will take away front grips..

With this much front weight bias the MTS FF pro pulls harder out of tight corners than the FF04 evo I raced it against in practice. The rear end on mine isn't coming around it is nicely planted. Our outside pave track has three right handed large high speed sweepers, the outside tire wears fast when running the Muchmore 28's that everyone runs. The rear would come around when I heated the fronts up too much and it would do a push then snap around. The combo of Muchmore 32's on the front and 28's on the rear made it run perfect. When indoor season comes I plan on running it in our version of USGT where the FWDs don't have a minimum weight. right now at 1175g (The muchmore 32's are heavier then the 28's I first weighed it with), it will run against most the 4wd's that are at 1380g on our large outdoor track (The real fast guys are always the fast guys). I might be able to hold my own when they weigh 1450 for Alberta Scale Spec.
I must say this car is legit, it works very well for the money they ask for it.

Are you guys running factory sway bar setup? 1.8 front and 1.4 rear
Optional spring set?
Diff fluid weight?
Anyone attempt using shorter shocks from xray or yokomo?
I emailed a vendor for parts and was looking to save money on certain things, I practically went down the list and copy and paste nearly everything I can think of. Interesting that this car comes with 2 deg blocks instead of 4 deg. Since it's front wheel it may track straight quicker than a 4wd?

I set mine up with silicone ear plugs in the diff because that's the stiffest stuff I have. Right now it's outdoor season so I used the 1.6 on the front and the 1.4 on the rear. I have seen a few pics from HK that show guys running no sway bar on the rear., I haven't changed the shocks yet, I may swap them over to trf units. I don't think there is clearence between the tire at full lock and the shock to run big bores. I may pull a set off of my VBC and try that after tuesday night.

I have no choice but to use a standard length lipo, I believe stock kit you can run both shorty and standard?
My setup will be in USGT with 1200 grams using orca 6000 standard packs and cadillac ATS body on asphalt. I'm running out of time so i'm trying to gather any info I can to get this thing running.

I refilled my shocks with 40wt AE oil (the stuff by Lucas), I am runnimg HPI silvers all around currently. Yeah it comes with the stuff to run a shorty or a full size pack. I think with some creativity, you could even run a full size pack down the center like a FF04 evo. I was think of trying the spool too but it wont be here till next week. One guy emailed me that everyone in Asia is running 2.5 million in the diff or blue-tac; the sticky blue stuff as he put it. He says it makes the diff just as stiff but easier to get out if you want to change.

Just checked it out, you're talking about blu-tac chain lube?
