Also want to point out that in the last four years, Americans have won 6 IFMAR titles. Plus one Canadian. That's a pretty darn good showing of you ask me despite the complete lack of Americans in this Worlds. Also let's not forget that while Reinhard is not American, his car was built in freaking New York baby!

Seems like there are more drivers in Europe and Asia that have full factory support.

If I could have everything I needed to race paid for, I bet I'd spend a lot more time at the track practicing.

Far too much class dilution. How many races in Europe/Asia have 10+ classes at a big race? When you have so many classes to choose from and you want to try something new odds are you'll pick another spec type class over Modified.

Tracks and racers are another problem. Instead of working together for the greater good of the hobby when a certain group doesn't like what is going on they break off and try and start something on their own or something of that sort.

European countries have more wide open tracks to supports modified racing regardless of indoor or asphalt. For the ETS series indoor tracks are normally ran on a indoor basketball court or indoor gym and asphalts are ran 1/8 tracks

It's $15 million on a sports complex that will have an RC track, not $15 million on an RC track.

Yeah, if that's the way they want to count it, I think Homestead cost a whole lot more than 15 mil

Ok since you don't get my point then where in America do we build a $15m sports complex to include anything RC? We put in skate parks.

I don't get it.

Its quite sad really. what's more, any talk of some sort of "battlefield promotion", even at the club level is met with wailing and gnashing of teeth.

you're right, we do put in skate parks and we have BS politicians that only care about their jobs...I get your point. No one addressed my point that we have tracks that can support full out 1/8th scale but you never hear of open mod racing at these tracks.

I too get your point but I can think of at least two examples, Homestead and Cincinnati.
