Hi, I was wondering if anybody has tried the new CRC slicks for pancars. Are they as competitive as traditional foams, or are they only good for bashing with slow motors? I race a 235mm pancar with a 5.5T motor & 2 cell lipo, so speed is ridiculous and high traction tires are essential. Thanks!

Those tires are definitely not made to run 235 mod car with. They would balloon and do all kinds of weird stuff. Just stick with foams.

The CRC tires are for the slower scale realism classes like WGT-R and F1. They will not work with a mod motor. Stick with foam like Mr. Boice said.

I tried the RT1 tires on my 235mm pan car. You will be disappointed unless you run on slower tracks. Plus they just look terrible on my Protoform body. I have accepted that this class is all about speed and pushing the envelope, which those RT1 tires are just not made for. Not even close to foams. I like the idea but it's a performance downgrade.

Trust us guys... Pro10 235mm is an old school class so think old school material... Except for the electronics offcoarse...

These cars just scream FOAM!!! You are NOT really driving Pro10 if your body comes off the track after a heat or final filled with scrubbed foam. The more black there is on the inside, the better!!!

You lose 3mm of foam off the tires, but the car weighs the same until you clean the inside of the body after a race?

NO!! I don't lose 3mm of foam from the tires in one heat. If you have that the tire shore is too low!!!

But your theory is right though LOL

Thank you all for the feedback on the CRC tires. I was tempted to give them a try, but I would be disappointed. You saved me $60

Here is an amateur video of my car. It is the white/green pro10. Our track is very large and the speed is insane down the straight! I wish I had a better video of it, from the driver's stand.

That's a sweet track and nice driving. The track is so big it makes even low turn motors look sane.

I have tried that at TQ and the track is to small for that much power. It works better with 17.5 and 2S.

RoadKill testing at TQRC today

2s 10.5 was AWESOME fun !

Car is so dialed it's easy to do sub 9s laps all day
Fast lap of 8.7

LRP 2s LCG 2900mah packs were perfect, 8m runtime no problem
32mm rollout
Spec WGT tires

A field of these at IIC would be Epic
