The car bogs down less through the corner with less lateral grip, and will carry more corner speed, tyres wont "squeel" as much.
Hagbergs app is pretty sweet but lacks a tuning guide to help with specific handling scenarios like the old RC Setup workbench app from martin crisp.
Tip for Alex: Put a "handling matrix" section in your app so if you are chasing a particular handling scenario such as "loose on power" you can offer a step by step on how to fix it like Martins app did, but more up to date.

Depends on the motor, amount of endbell timing as well as the size and flow of the track, but 4.5 would be on the under geared end of the spectrum.

I'm usually somewhere around a 3.8 FDR with the timing not quite fully cranked on most smaller tracks

64 pitch. Start with a 96 spur and pinions ranging from 42-48. I run a 46 on a fairly large track

How does it manage to do that, too much flex in it?

If you manage to keep the spur in one piece how does it feel?

Hey guys, just did a regional race here in Western Canada and did pretty well against some pretty good drivers.

See my write up and setups here.
