As im sure all of you know from my endless posts i have a ta04 pro. its completely stock and i need setup help. as it is right now, stock shock oil, stock mounting holes, stock springs, stock swaybars f/r, everything is as the manual says. and it sucks it pushes like mad and has no on power steering at all! help! i am going to race this on a small tight track so i need the speed in the turns. also i am having problems with the dogbones making the front wheels chatter, and it doesnt matter how much steering. i will fix that with cvd's. i am running foams and a stock motor also. please give me setup help, and also any hop ups that i should get for racing besides the cvd's. thanks

I used to run a TA04 with foams on a tight carpet track, From stock I would suggest the following:

Heavier damping, try about 60 Wt oil all round.

Stiffer front springs - I used HPI Navy

For extra steering on a tight carpet track try running some tyre additive on the front tyres. Start with about 5 mm from the inside edge.
