This is not an HPI, not Yokomo, not an Associated TC3 or TC4 and also not anything from Tamiya. My guess is some Asian knock-off type that is no longer made or sold.

I think it's an old HIMOTO. They did shaft drive with the HPI Purple and the HPI knock off shocks.

Greetings barney2013. I believe Excel Hobby distributed this car-If you get a chance, search the electric off-road thread(go-figure:weird) for:"Smartech 1/10th 4WD electric onroad RTR." I think i have a part# 10242T2.

ding ding ding! good job, it appears to be the same car, although with the upper deck removed to give more chassis flex for drifting.

It's not worth fixing. Run it if you want, then just chuck it if it breaks.

Gold star for me The "distributor" is within my area code. Even with that said ,I'm reluctant to go by there and pick a car(they're yucky even brand new-no offense)
