Thanks Roby368. I'll give the camber a try. I didn't glue the sidewalls, I'm using rubber tires.

Gluing of sidewalls on rubber is a fine tuning aid. Try it.

Are you gluing the inner or outer?

More Hiro Seiko screw kits arrived for the X1 car kit! Orange alumn top and titanium bottom screws. The kits have extra screws in them as well.

Outer. I honestly have never tried inner. I only go to gluing side walls as a last resort to setup issues.

My X1 was dialed in yesterday. The usual fast guy in F1 with his X1 was having traction rolling issues. Traction was high. I have no clue what difference in setup between us was, but my car car stayed flatter and did no over work the tires. No tire chirping like many others. It felt more like my 1/12 scale then a rubber tired car.

I was having issues running on slightly loose track conditions when I was breaking. The car was shoot off to the left when ever I hit the brakes. What can I check to see what's causing this problem?

Car can be "tweaked" but more then likely you have too much brake{push brake} Try turning the EPA down on the radio until the car still stops but doesnt want to spin out. If you are talking about at Norcal, more then likely it was the track conditions that caused your issues.

Yeah it was at Norcal. I was having all kinds of issues Saturday. I'll see how it reacts next race.

Yeah I heard they sprayed differently then the 1st race of the year and traction was down by a lot. Sad considering that was a big race. Lots of unhappy people.

Open question:

What are your thoughts/experiences with dampening the front suspension by using heavy weight silicone grease (10K cst - 30K cst - or higher) on the front king-pins? Does a heavier grease help get rid of the front wheels bouncing in a hard turn?

If the track is super bumpy, the grease/lube will help but will probably have to be reapplied more frequently because as the knuckle or steering knuckle goes up-and-down it shears away the lube from the actual kingpin. So yesit should help and is a tuning aid but you will need to maintenance it more frequently.
