Yes, the days of a gear diff was quite a long time ago for F1 & Pancars. The ball diff is lighter & closed.

Yup reckon I will too. Was going with Aus dealer as they were saying by Xmas but that looks like it's not happening so will order one from RC Mart or just grab one at Action Hobbies next trip to Hong Kong.

I have just tried the Tamiya F60 body on the X1: It does not fit out of the box, with a bit of small cutting near the rear wheels it will fit.

How much does the body interfere with the links though? Cutting to clear the pod I don't mind so much. Many cars have to do that to fit a Tamiya body but if the body doesn't clear the links that will be a problem.

Doesn't look like a lot of cutting is required to get it to fit.

Doesn't look like too much cutting.

No problem, this X1 will lift its skirt for anyone ;-)

Doesn't need a lot of cutting to get it to fit, just a bit at the rear of the body. No more than to fit it on any other car.

(in case anyone didn't get the hint: yes we still have X1's available!)

It looks as tho the body will need to be trimmed to fit over the links........I would like to see the F60 body installed ( trimmed and fit ) with body pins so we can see what to expect.....the F60 is my favourite F1 body but it costs $50 here in Canada and to me that's alot to spend on a body if it doesn't work with the X1.
