The Above Entry list includes several Verbal Commitments as well as all the paid entries that Sean Bushnell (Hustler) has. His list of paid entries is ultimately the master, and there may be a correction here or there that gets PM'd to him I may not get posted immediately, so no worries we got you covered.

Likewise as the race gets closer if we get close to capacity the PAID ENTRIES take precedent, so if you've told us your coming but have not sent in entiy and payment do so now. Also the Cutoff date for the great $79 a night hotel rate is fast approaching so get you room booked.

Cool

Just looking at that list
12th scale 17.5 shows the most entries

Did you have to use spec tires to get that many racers to sign up

I'm pretty sure that there are that many entries in 1/12 stock because there isn't a spec tire rule.

LMAO

Class count .................If you Slow you might be in the:

17.5 TC - 35 ...................... D main
17.5 1/12 - 43 .....................E main
WGT 19 almost enough for a....C main

Come on lets have a pre-Champs race which class will be the first to break 60 entries

As for the other classes they are mostly full A mains, just a word of caution if you like the other classes encourage your friends to sign up for em, 10 classes is an awful lot and we will be paying attention to which classes are the leanest as we plan for next season.

The Champs has been around for a long time and it has a long 12th scale history, so this isn't surprising. 12th is alive and well in the Midwest.

I found a web store that has Gravity 1/12th tires on clearance if anybody needs to stock up before the race. pitboxhobbies dot com. Still a handful left in stock.

Ordered - thanks for the tip. Some other interesting items there as well.

I imagine Cleveland sees some rough weather this time of year. Have there ever been extreme winter conditions for the indoor champs?

Being an Ohio native I will say the only caution about the weather... don't go commando. I see some old friends on the entry list, sure miss the midwest indoor scene.

That's really good to hear

Think it was 89 & 90 when I attended the Indoor Champs, entries were locked at 400 ?
You had your choice of 2 classes

It sure would be good to get a race like this moving back in that direction. There's a road ahead of us to get it there, but we have a plan. I'm confident that the granddaddy of all hotel races will be there in a few years. This year is already looking good.

Did we mention the Strongsville Holiday Inn is designated as the "Cleveland Airport" Holiday Inn? I'm just sayin' it's been a minute since 1990...

The hotel's discounted rate expires on November 15th, folks. It's not too late to make this race. Don't be left out on the second leg of the Midwest Grand Slam. Those who had a golden ticket went to the Classic and saw what happens when a hard working group of guys builds a great facility and then holds a well run event. Have no doubt.

Many times some snow and ice. The ws70 spec blizzaks will be installed on my car before heading up there for sure.

The great thing about the Strongsville Holiday Inn is that it is a full service hotel. It has a pool with workout facilities, a restaurant and a bar. So if the weather outside is frightful, we'll still be good to go...
