Hey all,
Does any one use KO PROPO Servos?
I want to use the Carbon Servo Horn on my RSX One Low-Profile Servo but they come in 3 different sizes 16.5, 18.5 and 20mm instead of buying all 3 does anyone recommend which one would be best to use

Recently moved to HK and decided to pick up RC cars again as a hobby. After much debate on what TC to get (debated over DETC410, which I almost bought! TRF418 and T4 '14) saw the D06 and headed down to Action Hobbies.
can't link to picture yet! :O But I have a Savox 1252 low profile servo, SP Reventon Pro 1.1, SP MMM v3.0 4.5 and trust Futaba R614FS receiver.
Read a few tips on building this, like sanding the diffs, shimming the steering arm etc ...
Should be a fun build! Wish me luck

The kit builds really easy. As others have suggested, use the included shim kit to remove the slight amount of slop from the shock pistons, and suspension arms.
Light sanding of the gear diff internals with 600 grit sandpaper is all that is needed for a buttery smooth differential. Make sure the diff halves are mated properly (there is a notch that keys together).
It is also suggested to shorten the driveshaft pins that go into the front spool cups a very small amount. It prevents the ends of the pins from dragging inconsistently on the inside of the spool cup.
One last tip I have is to spray out the front double joint axles with electric motor cleaner and add a few drops of a thick oil like Spec-R or Much More Joint lube. This will prolong the life of the axle and ensure smooth operation.

I went back to Action Hobbies today and picked up the aluminium front spool and lightened gear diff outdrives. They unfortunately didn't have the lightened front spool outdrives. I'm guessing this would have eliminated any issue with the axle pin binding with the stock outdrives?
It all seems to have gone a bit quiet on this thread

Im looking at the vbc wildfire do6 dynamics edition. Not many people have this car were I am atm. What are they like for strength do they break easily. I have been told they are a little weak can any one please shead some light on the subject thanks .

Our very own team driver Randy Caster finished second at this year's Reedy Race of Champions and thoroughly enjoys the car.
You will not be disappointed with the D06 Dynamics in either performance or durability.
These cars are in stock now, so give one a shot.

I've just finished building my D06 (Dynamics edition but not using the aluminium chassis) and it feels rock solid!
I had to use a few shims here and there and I also reamed out the suspension arms but by far the most solid feeling car I've built. Easy to build tweak free too! Just finished the electronics last night and will be working on getting it setup tonight.
There is, however, a tiny bit of slop in the steering brace. It uses a cone washer underneath the bearing so not sure if I can get rid of it but going to try to with shims tonight.
