VBC Should release 40mm fan mount to replace its 30mm one.
Something like this:

Why do you need a 40mm fan. The superior hobbies or R1 30mm fans are more than enough.

Also figured out a solution (after I ordered yet another diff case) to my stripped hole issue. I used the screws from my HPI BOSS Mustang wing mounts. Yes they are philips head and course threads, but they are the perfect size and now I can tighten the diff halves with no leaking. Seems to me that the course threads are better for the plastic parts anyway. It would be nice if I could find similar screws but with allen heads.

Default Shock Retainers

Hi all,

I ran the VBC for the first time last weekend. Definitely a lot of potential! On my first ever qualifier I had a fast lap of 11.2 seconds. My best ever with the Xray T3'12 was 11.4 after 2 years of owning and tuning the car!

Anyway, unrelated note, will these fit the TBB shocks?

http://www.vbcracing.com/collections...-a-03-vbc-0086

Thanks!
Sam

Just finished my build, going to start with same setup as my mod DO5 but in 17.5 class.

I ordered green springs and some other stuff. Website says still closed.

In certain regions, such as the USA for example, a 40mm fan is not allowed in competition; particularly ROAR events.

If you are referring to my site, VBC Racing Shop, we are closed through this weekend and will reopen Monday.

Thanks

How does this car stack up to the tc6.2? I already have a 6.1 but my lhs doesnt carry AE, they will be carrying this shortly. That would be one reason to switch.

lee111m, i think everyone here would agree that the VBC wipes the floor with any other chassis. We are all pretty much the VBC faithful here...

I havent had an opportunity to test the AE, but I think at the end of the day the chassis needs to be reliable, adjustable and well supported. The rest is up to you. In my mind the D06 meets these criteria.

I race onroad and off-road. See this question often, truth is there all pretty much good. It's up to you. Get a car were you can get parts and support.

Will say VBC is a good quality kit.
