That sounds strange or missed something. Less caster=more steering, right?

Less caster = more low speed steering (yes), less high speed steering

I'm curious, does anyone shim their front hub assemblies where they connect to the lower arms to take out some of the play?

I do, I shim accordingly. I also shim the barrel washers connected to the upper links. It doesn't take much to get it right but you will notice a difference when you check your droop, the play will be gone.

Excuse me guys,
which differences there are between the screw holes of the 417 topdeck and the 418 one? (a 418 topdeck will fit on a raceberry 417?)
thanks for help

He's referring to the Flanged Tube's that act like sleeves or liners in the "C" Hubs, see parts BC14 & BC15 in step 16 on page 11 of the 418 manual. The manual says to shim with a 3x.7mm shim though I've had to put in one or two .1mm shims as well to remove some of the slop.

I have just checked for you. It won't fit as the 418 top deck is sorter by 2-3mm so the holes don't line up.

Based off my tires what would some good changes be? I've only ran these tires two weekends and about 6 times total for about 5mm a piece. We are running 13.5 blinky on medium grip asphalt. I didnt hear them squealing (but I wasnt really listening for it the first day). But the tires really seam like they dropped of quite a bit to the point where im lacking that traction coming off the corner. They are sorex 36 premounted. Its a smaller parking lot track.

And no thats not my 418. I gave the tores to a friend as I was going to pitch them.

First pic is right rear
second pic is left rear
third pic is left front
forth pic is right front

Nick it looks like you need a touch more camber.

What additive are you using, are you using warmers?
