So I have heard nothing but good things about this joint. Great track, great comp.
I bought a JRXS from PlatinumPhou last thursday, as advertised on this site... paid for 2 day priority service from USPS.. and here it is NEXT friday and the mail man left again without my car.
I know this is would fir in the feedback forum= but since the seller is a Hobby shop primarily, i figured it would fit here.
Phou has no explaination, and does not reply to my PM's.
What is the deal? Does anyone know whats going through this guys mind? What kind of business does he run? I called him 2 days ago and he claims the car was shipped last friday 5-20. I have an email from paypal stating that USPS has been notified of my shipment on the 21st. The trackign number says the same thing every day. "awaiting for package to be dropped off".
Had I known platinum was a shady place, I would not have bought.. OR I would have drove the 2 hrs and picked it up.
that is the kicker... its 2 hrs from my house.
any thoughts or previous dealings with platinum?

I'm right along with Keith on this one, paid for the car last Thurs May 19th, but USPS is saying the car left on May 25th... what is the deal? USPS picks up and drops off on the weekend, what is the hold up? anyone else have some insight for us? When I call the shop, they assure me it left friday, but USPS is saying different... and considering I STILL don't have my car, I don't believe it left Friday...

i am sorry about what has happend. paypal did tell you that the package was shipped. i sent out the package the same day i told everyone. i had something that went to Ok and it is already there. keith i will make arrangements w/you. if you want a refund on the car the car has to come back to the store first. or we can make other arrangements. i have sold alot of stuff on rctech and this is my first problem with it. please contact me with more info if you need to.

It was never my intention to start a thread like this. But what else could i do? Obviously im not the only guy in this situation (brians11).
I have been more than patient..
your not 2 hrs away. There is NO way in HELL that this package would take this long to get here... it should have been here THE NEXT day.. let alone 2 day when using priority service. I am not trying to call you a liar.. or give platinum a bad name.. but dude, I have serious doubts that you shipped it when you say you did.
I am most annoyed because I expected it last saturday (this is why i asked for 2 day on thursday). I was dissapointed on saturday, as you know from my concerned PM, when i found out that you notified USPS on the 21st. Eache day since I have gotten MORE irritated. Tomorrow is another mail day, but im not counting on it.
I have had a few hours to cool off.. i just hope its here tomorrow...

Keith, If i remember at the Grand Finale race at The Gate, you said that you were not interested in this car, and wasnt going to get one
