You can put me down for no change to this years Spec GT. 17.5 sensored with 4.5 FDR. I'd rather not have to worry about searching for the perfect FDR and just focus on getting my car around the track. This class should be like the old IROC series where it was all about a drivers abilities behind the wheel.

Yes, but as long as tech is thorough there shouldn't be any questions. But I still say it's the best option.

I'd vote for fixed motor timing and FDR in Spec GT. Last year we all the same amount of power. No one could pull anyone down the straight. Where the speed came from for the fast guys was through the corners. This class is all about chassis set up and driver skill. We got enough other classes to try and blow up motors in.

The spec gt class would be awesome class to have the pros enter to mix it up with everyone else . I probably wouldn't enter it, not being used to handout equip but if Paul and other big names were in there I would be all in just to see where I finish compared to them .

2 and 3 years ago I was the only person running an older shaft drive car at IIC (TC3 in the amature class), but it was great to see people last year bringing out their older cars to run in the spec class - my buddy even brought a TT-01 and had a great time getting to run. I liked that the timing was fixed at 0, the gear ratio was at 4.5, allowing older cars to be competitive.
Your buddy ran a TT-01? He would have to be MAD to run a stock plastic car with plastic shocks....MAD I say! By the way, how did that particularly good looking bald guy do? Did he come one position away from making the "A Main"? Madness! Just madness.....

Default motors allowed

Coming from the Uk the motors we use are on a different list to what is used in the Usa .
Ive entered 1/12th in 17.5 and 13.5 and WGT10 13.5 I use teamwave motors and just purchased revtech killshots. It appears both are not on the motor lists .Are the lists out of date awaiting up dating.I hope so as I will have no motors to run.

The 17.5 is on the list. The 13.5 was just approved last week.

The only bald guy sitting near me was far less than good looking.

Love that quote..
Almost as funny as when Hara laughed at Haynes for running a Losi a few years ago on his way to a strong 2nd behind Hara in super stock.
