TBH I've tried allsorts and settled on 1million cst oil, as its always consistent, the problem with things like putty's and ear plugs etc is that they break down and become inconsistent, building a diff properly will ensure that it won't leak also.

hi , somebody runs the car without double sided tape under the servo, i have the aluminum servo mounts(optional) and i removed the double sided tape and theres a small flex under servo works but s its normal i think the car goes better for more float effect.

Thanks for all the info. I haven't built my front diff yet, but when I do, I'll try the 2.5million cst Gravity lube. BTW - The car is working great!

Yeah, I was thinking that the lube wouldn't lock the diff up completely. I do want some slip, and I'm not sure if the putty will be just like it was locked.

The 45 putty is medium hardness. If you look they have different compounds all the way up to locking putty. The 45 is heavier than the 2.5 million but will still allow slip.
I have 1 million cst and the 45 putty I can bring to the track and let you see the difference.

Ok heres a question in sure has been answered a few times. But it's a lot of pages to look thru on my phone.

What are some ideas being used to keep these from spinning off? And also from the threaded rod from pulling out of the arm?

I'm not sue I really know what you are trying to specify in the picture. If you are talking about the shock ball end, you can use the blue thread lock.

Yeah that thought has come to mind to try. Just need to figure out why the threaded rods seem to be continuing to pull out too on what seems to be fairly mild taps on cliktrack barriers on a carpet track.
