Also make sure the insert in the A-Arm is not loose or if the screw backed off the rear shock going into the A-arm as that can throw off your setup.

Depends on the springs you use and oil. But have you tried moving the rear shocks out ? sometimes a small change like that will help. Or maybe your springs are too stiff in the rear ?

I use Yokomo springs. 30W in rear.

Anyone know why these kits dropped in price so much over seas? They're like 200 euros, so like 250us

The news that Durango dropped their Pro level drivers likely caused some concern. The good news is that the DETC410 is a great sedan and now is a good time to buy high-end on the cheap.

I ran my DETC410 at the first race in a Triple Crown event in Ontario, Canada yesterday. Lots of very fast guys running at this event and I managed to qualify 4th for the B main in stock sedan (17.5 blinky). I got tangled up in traffic in the main and not too sure where I finished but the car was fine. During the three qualifiers, I moved the upper rear shocks in two holes to try to gain some rear grip and that seemed to help. I have only 8 runs on the car now and I'm hoping to get it dialed better going forward. Nothing broke or came loose and that was reassuring.

They are definatly not stopping. In fact they are testing new parts currently.
The drop in Price is part of their campaign to become more present at clubs

HI

YES AND THE PRICE FOR SPARE PARTS ARE ON THE LEVEL WITH XRAY BUT THE QUALITY IS NOT THERE BY FAR.

AND ON CLUB LEVEL YOU NEED A LOT OF THEM.
TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE POSTS HERE....
FOR ME IT'S THE WRONG WAY THEY ARE HEADING.
JUST MY 2 CENTS

Hi, toroloco,
what do you mean, when you say the Quality is not there by far?
Are the parts breaking or do you need to sand them or anything? Which parts are you referring to when you say parts are the same price as xray?
What would you change and why?
greets
Chris

I have found no issues with any of the DETC410 parts and the car goes together perfectly and nothing needs sanding or hand fitted. There are of course some small plastic parts like spacers that you must snip off a plastic tree, and these always need some trimming, but this applies to any other kit on the market.

I didnīt have any problems while building the kit. only thing is the djc might be a bit tricky to assemble. I used to assemble the aluminium bone first and then the wheel axle.

Hi Chris,

Building is ok nothing about that but than race it, slop comes very quickly and crash resistance is poor specially indoors. Crash an Xray, a VBC an a Durango a the same speed on the same place and you will the difference the Xray is tank so the VBC like 2 or 3 other brands.
Take your time and read a few pages and You know what I mean.
People who start rc at a club level will buy this car kit because it's cheap yes but if you have to replace suspension parts after every crash wll find out very quickly that it's not that cheap any more.
Talking about the price take the drive belts as an example.
I would make the car bullet proof for beginner's a good hard bumper better drive shafts and better plastic quality.
But for me it's to late I've sold mine and when people ask why I tell them I'm not a pro driver and when I crash my car and I want a car that's forgiving.
Even if I have to spend more at the start.
But I'm not every body just some who enjoys racing more than wrenching ;o)

I thank You for asking Chris.

Claude
